Aprajita Chadha
Verified Vendor

Aprajita Chadha’s passion for the arts compelled her to study Textile Design in India and Japanese Sumi-E in Japan, honing a diverse set of artistic talent through formal education. She later moved to Singapore to expand her abstract contemporary work skills at the LASALLE College of the Arts.   Upon graduation in India, Aprajita gained working experience as a pattern designer at an export house in the arts and design sector. She soon decided to launch her own business, where she channelled her training, specialising in traditional Indian block print techniques.   As she moved away from solely focusing on textiles, Aprajita started working with oil paints before exploring the use of mixed media and acrylics in her works. Painting in mostly abstract styles, her collections today focus on the convergences of modern ideas and technology and how humanity relates to these.  Frequently incorporating multiple colours and extensive patterns and shapes, Aprajita’s artworks also address the subconscious connectivity between people, including their outer world and hidden connections with others. Ultimately, Aprajita aims to use her talent to provoke a deeper understanding of our relationships with ourselves and others.   Holding a wealth of experience and knowledge across multiple art techniques, as well as a natural talent and appreciation for the arts, Aprajita’s works have been exhibited in group shows across Tokyo, Singapore, Dubai, Paris and Brussels. Her masterpieces also feature in private collections in the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Singapore.
