Artistry Unveiled: Exquisite Art’s Showcase at the FIND Design Fair Asia in Singapore 21-23 September 2023
In the vibrant September 2023, our gallery embarked on an exhilarating journey by participating in the prestigious FIND Design Fair Asia in Singapore. This major trade show brought together many artists, designers, architects, and art enthusiasts. This event served as a platform for our gallery to showcase the exceptional talents of three remarkable artists: Niall McWilliam, Samantha Redfern, and Ankita Chatterjee.
Niall McWilliam, renowned for his captivating commercial Abstract Aquarium series, took centre stage with two paintings showcasing a mesmerising collage of the iconic cities of Singapore and Hong Kong. The gallery proudly exhibited one painting from Niall’s Botanical Garden series and another from his evocative Singapore Events collection, Chingay Parade. Niall McWilliam’s artworks, characterised by their dynamic visuals and vibrant colours, drew the attention of many attendees, adding a touch of contemporary flair to our exhibition space.
A versatile artist with a penchant for diversity, Samantha Redfern presented a stunning collection that transcended styles, sizes, and materials. Among her showcased pieces were two significant abstract works that commanded attention, two medium-sized creations on 3D wooden panels adorned with various inserts, and three paintings on rice paper mounted on wood. Additionally, Samantha unveiled three canvas works skillfully mounted on wooden frames, enhanced by the subtle artistry of neon paints. The fusion of different styles and materials within Samantha Redfern’s collection resonated with the eclectic tastes of the fair’s diverse audience.
With her unique perspective and creative vision, Ankita Chatterjee contributed six paintings from her compelling two Series. Each piece conveyed a distinct narrative, showcasing Ankita’s mastery of form, colour, and emotion. Ankita Chatterjee’s series’ depth and thought-provoking nature resonated with the fair’s attendees, creating an immersive experience for those exploring our gallery space.
The fair attracted many visitors, from design professionals and architects to art enthusiasts. The diverse audience allowed our gallery to engage with individuals from various creative backgrounds, fostering meaningful connections and sparking insightful conversations about the showcased artworks. The culmination of the fair was marked by an open-to-the-public day, allowing a broader audience to experience the richness of the exhibited art. This inclusive approach increased our artists’ exposure. It facilitated a deeper connection between the artworks and the public, enhancing the overall impact of our gallery’s participation in the FIND Design Fair Asia.
