Trilogy II

The second part of the painting Trilogy by Turkmen artist Vitaly Didenko is a continuation of the theme of the Revolution of 1917 in Russia. Here, unlike the first triptych, white and red colours prevail, banners and snow. The primary shades of that cold autumn in the dying Empire. Broad, sweeping strokes speak of the rigidity and even cruelty of that memorable time. Nature also took part in the sharp turns of history and diluted the black and red palette with snow-white strokes. On the canvas, we see how white predominates in the centre, and red frames space, this Abstract vision of a St. Petersburg street during the period of the seizure of power by the working class.
Classical abstract expressionism is a style that fits the revolutionary theme perfectly. The work vividly conveys the atmosphere and the sad symphony of October 1917.
The work was written for the centenary of the Revolution, symbolizing the strong memory of descendants.
