Khiva

Khiva is the world-famous landmark, a kind of an open-air museum-city. In his work, Nurillo showed the heart of Khiva - the inner city of Ichan-Kala. The Ichan-Kala complex is protected as the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Using his individual style, the artist expressed his perception of the legendary complex. Palaces, mosques, minarets, whose construction history extends back more than four hundred years, seem to merge with the surrounding land, recalling that nothing is eternal; they rush a man to enjoy the disappearing monuments, the cultural heritage of mankind faster.
At the same time, the author shares his impressions on the fact that the Earth has accepted the masterpiece of man after many centuries, having ennobled once bright colors with its own color. Looking closer, you gather the impression of negligence, randomness, sweeping brush strokes of the artist, but it is his style, this reading makes the picture come to life, giving it a relief and uniqueness of forms.
