Winnie Wong was born in Hong Kong and fell in love with drawing and painting at the tender age of five. Being determined to pursue her passion and to drive social change through art, she made a bold leap into the unknown: she gave up a promising professional career to become an aspiring artist.
In addition to having received professional training on oil painting in Hong Kong, she received training in oil painting from the Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore. She also started exploring abstract art with the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore and has been actively practising art until today.
The essential idea behind Winnie’s art is to make the world a little brighter. She likes to inspire people to think differently and to promote meaningful dialogue between people through art. She is also keen to drive social change through art.
Today, she is an artist, a design thinker, and an entrepreneur who is keen to contribute back to the society. She also helps private collectors in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United Kingdom tell their stories with personalised art projects.
