Meley Law was born in Hong Kong in 1977. She received her Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, Painting with Distinction from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Diploma in Fine Arts from Lasalle College of the Arts and Manchester Metropolitan University. She also achieved a specialist diploma in Counselling Psychology in the Academy of Certified Counsellors.
Law often travelled for inspiration during her early 20s, and most of her artworks are mostly subjected on a landscape in the abstract which greatly influenced by the works by German painter, Gerhard Richter and Taiwanese painter Liu Kuo Sung.
An accomplished artist, she has held many painting exhibitions in Singapore and Asia countries. Under the foremost Art educators in Singapore, Milenko Prvacki’s and Dr Ian Woo’s lecturing during her tertiary fine art major in painting, she had won numerous merit awards between years 2000 to 2001, her artworks had been recognised locally and internationally.
