April's artistic adventure began as a young girl in England, painting mainly bright, lary pieces that lit up her childhood home. At GCSE level, she knew she had a passion to create and didn't pay as much attention to other classes besides Art and Photography. April then attended London College of Fashion where she studied a high fashion backstage make-up & hair course painting faces with a desire to work on magazine covers.
Working so closely with human beings was a great way to build her confidence and express her work not only on bare skin but on canvas. Pushing the boundaries and finding her very own artistic style which is bold, vivid, fun, contemporary and filled with texture.
This year April moved to Singapore and started working on her current project 'Asian Art Adventure' in which she uses a lot of Japanese drawing ink, acrylic ink and paints. We hope you enjoy her work as much as she does create it.
